Being made an Elder!!!

This was a very special day for Zach and the whole family. Sarah and Trevor were kind enough to share their day with us. This is Zach holding Gideon (our youngest grandbaby). Gideon Oliver was blessed the same day that Zach was made an Elder. It was so much fun to have the whole family together for this special day. (If your wondering what Zach is standing in front of it's our greatroom wall. It's our double car garage converted to a familyroom. We have floor to ceiling books on this wall.) The 4 girls that are holding Zach up are (left to right, Angela (his girl) Rachel, Sarah & Katie (his sisters). Things are never boring when Zach is around to liven things up. We love him and we miss him, but were sure glad that we have pictures to go back and look at!

Going to the Temple

This is the day that we took Zach to the temple for the first time. It was a beautiful day and we really enjoyed it. Look at how Zach towers over the two of us. Wow, he's a great looking kid isn't he? I think that he gets his looks from his Dad! All except that nose, that comes from my family!!! As you can tell from the suit and the tie, black and red are his favorite colors. Just the beginning of his missionary experience.

My very first missionary!

My son Zachary has been called to the Salvador, Brazil Mission. He left on May 13th and entered the CTM (center for training missionaries) on the 14th of May. The CTM is in Sao Paulo Brazil. He is learning Portugese there and having many wonderful experiences. We are so very proud of him and what he is doing. There is nothing more wonderful than serving the Lord. We love you Zach!!!
